Oh god I haven't animated in FOREVER and I totally forgot how rewarding it is...AAAAH ;w;
AHAHHA SO UM I started a bit of this a week or two ago I think? But forgot about it until tonight and COULD NOT STOP working on it. I was having so much fun you have no idea.
Anyway, I'm really quite proud of it. I think it's the best animation I've ever done. ;u; I think there's some flaws with the anatomy - which I'll  hopefully be able to fix in the finished version(which will have a moving background!), and some consistency issues that need to be fixed as well. The reason those are there is cause I wanted this to look as natural as possible so I made EVERYTHING move. Every frame is done from scratch(so no copy and pasting to save time).
"But Ink, when will it be finished?" As much fun as I had with this, I don't think I'll finish it until I have a weaver of my own to fill it with. u.u The reason for that is because I'm really worried that if I finish this via commission I'll get bored of it easily and take a really long time to get it done - which in turn will make me feel really bad because somebody that paid me is waiting for it. If I do it as a personal project, I won't have guilt and pressure hanging over me and it will be much more enjoyable. That being said, when I DO get my own weaver and finish this, I WILL consider doing commissions of it if I enjoyed finishing it enough. So I am curious about how much one would pay for me to do one of these for their weaver(moving background included)? Comment your thoughts below, maybe?
Still, it might be a very long time before I get my own Weaver, as I cannot participate in auction adoptions for various reasons. Lucky for me, though, bananamantis is generous enough to hold contests every month to help the less fortunate get a free one. XD I'll just be entering those until I get lucky.

Frames were drawn in Paint Tool Sai and put together in Adobe ImageReady
(Frames will probably be put together in Adobe Flash in the finished version)

Oh man I just randomly found this while scrolling around. This is fantastic Ink!

Did you ever get around to coloring one? If not, can I give it a shot of using it as a base? I think it would be really fun practice!
